An informative and interactive sex positive parenting course designed to celebrate the bond between parents and children! Transitions & Journeys was developed to help parents tackle the intimidating subjects of this important Rite of Passage and develop tools to make conversations about these subjects both comfortable and meaningful. This in-depth, family sex education class, will help to establish a much needed foundation of parent/child communication regarding this subject matter. In this online class, parent(s) and child(ren), will be prepared with the tools they need to gently discuss:

• Puberty (Boys and Girls)
• Emotions
• Breast development
• Menstruation
• Self Care
• Personal Space in Relationships
• Puberty (Boys and Girls)
• Sexual intercourse/Reproduction
• Definitions of new terms
• Safe vs. Unsafe Touch
• Pornography – what it is, how to recognize it, and what to do if you see it
• All classes are fact based

*At least one tween and one parent/caregiver must be present to participate. This class will be presented using Zoom and it is recommended to login using a computer or laptop device that has a camera and keyboard, which will allow you to be interactively involved with the group. (Either parent is welcome to join). You only need to purchase one ticket for your family, not a separate ticket for each family member that is joining.

Girls ages 10-12 years, Boys ages 11-13 years, Boys and Girls taught together, one 2.25 hour class, online

*There is a two week prior to class cancellation policy for all registrations. If you must change your plans within two weeks of scheduled start date, you may use your credit towards another class or another child at a time that works with your schedule. For any refunds processed (unless in the event of a class cancellation due to low enrollment), a 3% credit card service fee will be deducted from the refund total.
