Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the realities, challenges, and risks facing today’s adolescents and school-aged children.

Through an honest and thoughtful exploration of sexuality in today’s world, parents will be equipped with the knowledge, language, and tools needed to confidently guide these critical conversations at home. The course emphasizes the importance of informed, values-based communication—so children receive accurate information from trusted adults rather than peers or the internet.

After completing this course, parents will have a thorough understanding of:

• Why it is essential for children to learn about puberty and sexuality from their parents

• Childhood Sexual Abuse - How to recognize it and how to protect your children from it

• Current data and trends impacting adolescents today

• Dangers of not talking/educating - kids will learn about this somewhere. If it isn't coming from parents, it is coming from their friends or the internet/pornography. Where do you want your kids learning from?

• The difference between Comprehensive Sex Education vs Abstinence Education

• Effective strategies for communicating with children and adolescents about development, puberty, sexuality, and family values

• Practical tools to confidently discuss bodies, development, and sexuality with children of any age—from birth through the teenage years
